The Application may use OCR and matching to recognize or associate medication names. These technologies can be wrong.
- a medication may be read incorrectly;
- a medication may be confused with another;
- a dose or form may be omitted or misinterpreted;
- an educational card may be suggested incorrectly;
- a result may be incomplete.
Mandatory verification
Users must verify all information against the original list, original packaging, pharmacy label or a healthcare professional.
General information
The Application may provide general information and educational cards. This information is not personalized and may not account for the user's age, weight, allergies, medical history, pregnancy, other medications or clinical situation.
No diagnosis
RxScan Guide™ does not diagnose, confirm any disease, rule out any medical condition or provide personalized medical advice.
Emergency
In a medical emergency, serious symptoms, allergic reaction, suspected overdose or significant uncertainty, immediately contact emergency services or a healthcare professional.
